Coating Inspector
Quality assurance and documentation of surface treatment to ISO 12944, NORSOK and customer specifications.
About the position
You are the guarantee — for the customer and for us — that the coating will last. You inspect preparation and coating build-up, measure and document, and help clarify specifications before production starts.
Your tasks
- Inspecting blast grade, roughness and salt contamination
- Film thickness measurement, adhesion tests and cure control
- Writing inspection reports and as-built documentation
- Attending customer and third-party inspections
- Advising production on procedures and deviations
We expect
- FROSIO or NACE/AMPP certification, or solid coating inspection experience
- Knowledge of ISO 12944, ISO 8501 and NORSOK M-501
- Structured and strong on documentation
- English written and spoken
- Driving licence
