Blaster / Surface Treatment Operator
Abrasive blasting of steel to Sa 2½ and Sa 3 as preparation for painting and metallising.
About the position
You handle the blasting that determines the quality of the entire coating job. In our blast halls you clean steel structures, pipes and components to the agreed cleanliness and roughness so the paint gets the best possible substrate.
Your tasks
- Abrasive blasting to Sa 2½ / Sa 3 per ISO 8501
- Assessing cleanliness and roughness profile
- Handling and recycling of blast media
- Preparing and moving items around the hall
- Daily checks of blast equipment and filters
We expect
- Experience with industrial abrasive blasting
- Physically robust and used to working with breathing protection
- Eye for detail and quality
- Forklift or crane licence is an advantage
- Working Danish or English
